    Who's all running big cadillac motors 500 472? lets see some pics of the big cadillac motors in yer cars
     
  2. Have the complete 472 running gear out of a 73 Caddy. Gonna sell it for $500, becuase dont have a body big enough to hold it.

    Here's mine. It's a 1941 Caddy Model 75 Fleetwood. It has a '70 472 in it.

    My 51 chevy has a 72 eldo 500.I hope to actually drive it someday.

    I picked up a 65 Impala wagon a couple years ago as a driver. Has had
    a 500 Cad motor since 1974. LOTS of FUN to drive. Long live these

    Our 500 Cad is currently topped with a 32 3-window body, which will eventually be replaced with the fordoor body we recently started bringing back from the dead. We fabbed our own mounts and brackets, and added early style valve covers as well.

    to make these big engines live restrict the top end oiling and use a good oil pump,
    the bearings if you overrev will starve for oil, keep it in the 5000rpm range..
