Did you hear about the hurricane making landfall near Mobile this weekend? Could be a mess down there. Man... I just read what I posted and it reminded me of Debbie Downer....just ignore me..
The other thread is the "Crusing the Coast Sucks, But We Are Going Anyway and Having Our Own Show in the Middle of Their Show and We are Not Letting Gold Chainers into Our Show Because They Suck Too" thread. This thread simply asks who is going to Cruisng the Coast.
Bad weather is supposed to be out of here by Monday morning....only 10% chance Thurs I think.......I heard little over 6400 pre-registered....it is crowded but it's still the best show going for the money, with all the different venues, entertainment, swap meet and just being able to drive your car for a week down beautiful beach front property........If you don't enjoy driving your car, you might not have as much fun.
I took my '32 Roadster and rode over to Long Beach tonight for the Buddy Rogers Memorial Cruise to kick off the week.....their was about 250-300 cars their and it doesn't even start till Monday.......of course it started raining about half mile from my house and rained the first 30 miles...it's about 90 miles one way for me....it was worth the trip...turned out beautiful and a perfect night to come back down the coast beside the ocean in a Roadster....took me about 1 1/2 hours each way.....rv's were already starting to set up along the Beach area........can't hardly wait........
For you to be so Diehard Traditional Minded Stu......your avatar is FAR from Traditional......what's up with that?

i am going over thursday - sunday. driving the truck over to sell . i am glad they had something for buddy. i am going to miss him
We came in Monday evening and left Thursday, I have to say this was one of the best and most organized events I've ever been too! I especially enjoyed the Veterans get together but there certainly were a lot more events that probably were just as good. The quality of cars was outstanding, wish I would have taken pictures but I really don't know where I would have stopped- some outstanding rides. To the many people my wife and I met we have to say a special thanks for your hospitality and while I wish we could have stayed longer I'd rather say "see you next year"! Again many thanks for putting on a great event. The only downer was the roads between Shreveport and Gulfport, someone needs to spend some money! I know my butt would appreciate it!
Anyone going to the HAMB cruise in Thursday at CTC? Be nice to see a bunch of HAMB friendly cars and people!!
Thanks for sharing the flier and let folks know if you're coming to it enter from the corner of 22nd and 14th, there's a bib to drive in that won't chew your oil pan off. The map above is supposed to show where....
