Yeah, uh OK. If you said he was doing a great job, now let's go have a brewski, I'm with you. You guys from Norway and Sweden do some kind of badass work.

Achtung, or however you say it in Norwegian, you are SO talented. Keep up the great work. I am really enjoying this build. Your ideas just flow like a fine wine. AND, I admire your grit. I'll keep watching until the Linc is "on da road".

Tons of work later! Very little visual progress though. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444220758.043066.jpg

I'm really glad you are back up and running. Sometimes a break and a breather allows you to refocus and commit. This build helped formulate some of the ideas that I had spinning around my head for my project.
Keep the progress pics coming , cos you don't know who else might get inspired.

Really love the whole package, the car, your vision, your execution , your workshop.

  16. Mats-Henrik...we ALL hate sanding. That seems to be the worst part of any paint job. I just finished a new oak bathroom cabinet, and had to sand with 220, in between coats. Really needed to do more, but threw in the towel and said enough is enough. Turned out ok,
This week, we all read of Mr George Barris going to that big spray booth in the sky. Betcha he had plenty of late nights, sanding ALL those Kustoms. Please keep going, we love this project. One of the best Kustom builds, on the Hamb, right now.

Pure art. If Rembrandt was alive I can imagine him painting a picture like that.

  23. i have to add some compliments, too, Mats-Henrik, it's becoming a true piece of art! Did i miss it or did you already speak about the upcoming color?

    Cheers, Carsten

  24. I too wondered about the color choice. So important, it can make or break a classic. Recently saw a vintage garage picture, with a '42 Ford Custom, white with white Carson top. Olds frowning grill was icing on the cake. Not a popular color choice, but it looked. great!
