That's the Torrnados fly mascot. Long story. I'll tell you in person. Most definitely attracted by the above mentioned yum yums.

Are the pedals as tight as they look?

^I was thinking that they shoulda painted who and cares on the clutch and brake respectively. Since "Go" is all he's gonna need.

The white hubs/brakes and suspension just do it for me. I have a very soft spot for the wide 5s. Looks bad ass. Wish we could have made it up, too much work going on to take time off.

I commend Mr. Ray Prue on his dedication to first, buy this rough body from the Torr Skoog memorial auction, totally rebuild pretty much everything.... Everything! Collect all parts and pieces than build a car to honor Torr ....and the events the he was always trying to produce and wanted people to get involved in. He Built it at night, after 14 hour work days, sneaking out into the garage after tucking his two boys into bed and kissing his wife goodnight. Getting back into the house at 3am only to do it again the following night.

Ray built that entire car in less than a year from scraps and dust, didn't cut any corners or skimp. There were many stressful weeks thinking will I make the deadline? Will it run, steer ok to race?? We've all been there and im image.jpg sure will be there again and again.

That's dedication, that's how we honor our friend and that's how I'll continue to honor my friend.

I'll fly that flag high in his honor.

    Pete-

I'm with Pete, Mr. Ray. The effort you put into that car was superhuman considering all the other things you've got going on in your life. And the experience of being down there with all you lunatics for the weekend is a memory that will keep me fired up for quite awhile.
All I want to know is---Can we do it again, huh, can we, can we????
