Correcting my earlier post to the "introduce yourself" forum.

I was wandering around the property I grew up on as a little kid today. I drug home some rusty gold that I hope you can help me identify. Apologies for the crummy cell phone photos, I can take better, closer photos as necessary to ID this body.

Based upon some amateur research, this might be a 1920-1922 Chevrolet 490 Touring. Can anyone confirm or deny?

its not the same cowl as the one you put the link to, it has a sloped cowl, yours is pretty flat.

Here is the dash photo 31doger. Also included the panel between front and rear seats and headlight.

Headlight buckets look like T ford???? ... were these on or near the car - maybe swapped at some stage?

The D pillar is way straighter on yours than the willys pictured.

Dapper Dan, the headlight was found with it but certainly could have been swapped. The car was in a pasture. Hell, I could have dropped the headlight there from another car 40 years ago.

  16. Definitely an Overland by the look of that dashboard. Fender crest is way different than a "T" and is a match to Overland. Headlamp sure does look "T".
