I remember The Oak Tavern from '50's . I think it was near Ramond St. and Kentucky Ave. We often passed it on the way to my Dad's barber shop at Tibbs and Morris streets. I remember being intrigued by the triangle windows.

Last ones might all be Kingman, ex Army Airfield. Bonanza was an old airline that operated on the west coast. First car is 50s Jag and course may be Luke Auxiliary 2, 163rd Ave & Grand near Phx.

I cannot tell you anything about the track and division, but the car in this and the last post is a Jaguar XK120.

My guess: the car #8 might be a Formula Junior class racing car with a three-cylinder two-stroke Saab engine and front wheel drive. Three Solex carburettors can be seen. Saab-engined FJ cars were quite successful in Europe although the 850 cc engine was much smaller than the FJ class limit 1100 cc.

The car in the first picture is a Sunbeam Alpine, the cars in two other pictures are Austin-Healeys.

Probably the Palm Springs Airport. In the 1950's, they held sports car races there. The car is a Jag XK 120 Roadster.
