I am working on a 54 Dodge C1-C6 pickup. The brake components are not available so I am changing the rear end to a 8.75 MOPAR. My question is on the front spindles will newer hubs with separate brake drum fit on the 54 spindles. Limited budget and do not want to change front end if possible.

  2. I used a kit from AAJ brakes for a disc brake conversion it uses the stock front spindles with modern rotors and calipers i'm not sure if that's the route you want to go just an option. Jim

Brake components are available from Roberts motor parts. I bought a disc conversion kit from scare bird. The problem is that the steering gear components are not available so there is no sense upgrading the brakes when the steering is trash.
