I have a Summit Racing power steering pump GM type 2 style and want to know if anyone knows which way this should rotate. SUM-340106P_xl.jpg

I believe that there are two (2) types, standard rotation and reverse rotation with OEM or remote reservoir tank. Some reverse rotation pumps have a 'R' or 'reverse' stamped on the bottom of the pump or side. Corvette pumps are high pressure & volume (3gpm) compared to other type II pumps (2.2gpm). I've got a reverse flow Corvette but want to run a 'V' belt, not serpentine system and need to locate another pump.

Race pumps of this type, unless specifically labeled otherwise, are standard rotation.
