I have several of these flat head manifolds for Scot blowers and I have the tooling to make more if needed. These could be adapted to other blowers also.

As seen on the Landspeed racing site. Not vintage. But pretty rare. An excellent example of Hot Rodding. If you want one. Put the catalog down. Build it.

Has anybody ever seen this intake before? It had no names on it but it is two pieces. The two carb intake upper portion is removable and the only thing I could think of is to bolt 4 barrel intake onto it? I don't know. What do you guys think?

The intake manifold you have is an Anderson. Anderson Industries from Indiana made these intake manifolds with a removable top piece ( you have the 2X2 one) so you could change the tops without having to unbolt the intake manifold from the engine. In addition to the 2x2 top there was a 3x2 top and a 4 barrel top. I believe the intake bottom piece and the 3 top pieces were sold as a set.

  13. Here's an old home made triple that I have hanging in my shed, it was single carb modified to start with over 40 years ago and was supposedly a good manifold when it was in use? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1424673030.047574.jpg

Well deserved bump; does anyone know if the Edelbrock 4x2 intake carb mounting surfaces are parallel to the block surface, or are the angle milled 3 degrees? Can someone post a pic of this intake with a straight edge on the carb mounting surfaces to see if they are step milled?

My old 276 Merc sprinter used an Edelbrock 'Super-Dual' with 97s on methanol : no stumbles or flat spots from off idle to wide open.

I would like more info on the 41 Caddy 2 x 2, Frank Burrell intake. I have a couple 48 flathead Cad engines, and I could get real interested in these manifolds.

Here's a mystery, I just bought this aluminum intake dated 1947 with a VERY prominent "Circle-S" logo cast on the top. IF it's what I think it is...it could be very rare indeed.... intake1.jpg intake2.jpg
