Cool - Thanks - went to dentist a couple of days ago just for teeth cleaning. while in waiting room almost got up and left because I hate dental work of any kind. the Oakland is a beauty, owner interesting character. I used to drive the curvy/steep Ortega Highway, not a road for most rides limited braking capabilities.
Wow, that car shows that you can have fun with anything. The Ortega has tamed a lot of high dollar sports cars. That thing was going pretty good. Dude haven fun!!!!

I'd love me an Oakland. Fenders, no fenders .... racer back, factory ... roadster, cabriolet, touring and coupe in that order. Not many around, but they were runners then, and runners now. They had V-8's in the teens. That dude is diggin' it.
At first I thought where is the humor in this? I watched it a while ago and couldn't remember anything funny. Thought it was a crazy kinda cool ride. It took one word. Sweaters. Dude has some fierce sweaters and it seems like he wanted a car and board to match his sweater. I kinda want to call him a poser but dude is driving that kooky oakland and surfing and I'm not.

cool car gotta love characters like that, they not only live in another time period in their heads, they also have in depth discussion with their cats, they have a special cocktail for each cosmic event, and they celebrate obscure holidays like toasted marshmallow day.

That guy is a local surfer, musician, hot rodder. Interesting guy. A good friend of mine surfs with him (long boarder) and says he is a good guy. Totally into the vintage dress-up stuff.
