Well it might not be full custom,but the inside &trunk and a few other parts are done by me.

 

Here's mine, not quite finished but running.

 

Love it that this thread was dredged up again, love these early 50's as well as the dream boat mid to late 50's. Lincoln is trying to make a come back brand surge as we speak. Cool!! ~sololobo~

My 51 survivor built in 1956 in Tucson Arizona.

 

I realize this thread is at least 2 years old since the last post, thought our newest acquisition a 1956 premiere Kustom might be worthy.

That car is boat loads of cool. The only thing I would change is to clean up the rear bumper. It kind of looks like an afterthought. The side profile pic is awesome though. Long and low, just like a custom should be.

 

My neighbor just sold it.'57 Lincoln Premeir. Went to San Jose

 

If the side trim on this Lincoln is stock, I wonder why it wasn't used on customized Mercs.

 

^^ That's '51 Lido trim I believe, there have been a few Mercs that have used it, very pretty but EXTREMELY rare stuff to find.

 

I totally agree, about the continental kit "it looks like an after thought"... I was told by the original owner, who purchased it new in 56, the Lincoln dealership installed it when new. Go Figure.......
