Hot Rods another 427 question

    I posted recently about having purchased a 1963 427 along with the engine I received several boxes of extra parts, in one box were spare pistons with the casting number c3ae6011t the only info on these I could find was that they are race application does anyone have any info on these

    If they're cast , not forged they are not racing Pistons....
     
  3. Looked in my 64 parts book and the only pistons shown were 6108 numbered. No pistons with 6011 found...

    C3AE6110T are standard 63-65 FORD / MERCURY FE 427 pistons, typo error?

    mgtstumpy the pistons I have are the same as yours , on the site mustangtek they are listed as race application and that is the only place I can find any info on them

    Stock 427 Pistons with valve bumpers , to stop from bending valves if over revved
