Another good day at the track! Always a fun day. Great seein' all the folks. Good to see the wheels finally in the air. I believe the smaller diameter on the tires helped a little bit too. A lot of the cars are gradually improving, great to see! One left to go, at Greer, SC. Clear your calendars, Nov. 7th, be there!

Mark the calendar! Oct 10th me and Jimmy Huff, possibly Gabriel, Cate and The Ol Dirty Bastard are planning to test n tune at Paradise. Great swap meet at this track too.

 

I will plan on being there and have a swap meet booth set up

 

That would be the fall Show-n-Go at Calhoun Oct 10, that Barry puts on. Usually something ya can't live without in the swap.

 

Yep I am stocking up I probably have around a hundred Little magazines and some old cartoons magazines as well as other stuff.

 

Nice weather here today. We rolled over to Joe's to use the shear and make some much needed door skins. The crew chief was impressed with "The Boogie Man" at the last race. So ...... in an effort to keep him on the team .... its time to get less dirt on the Quick N Dirty. That Boogie Man is one fine ride.

 

Glad to see a few South East Gassers testing at Paradise. Should be a lot of fun!

The kid doesn't own a pair of jeans I tried to get him to wear pants to the track so I could take him for a ride along - he may have Sunday pants not sure. I told his mom - no jeans no rides in the drag car - oh wait

Tony posted a few pictures and video of us running at Knoxville on Paradise Face Book site. Hoping will have a lot show up and see what it's about. Will be fun to hang out and make some great passes.

 

I'm actually a working on a SEG film - this requires me to stay closely behind the other car to get the footage

I stole this one off Dougls T Photography on FB - killer shot! This was the first wheel stand - the car went right still wonder what would have happened if I was in the other lane

So can anyone make a guess to how may Gassers will be at Paradise? I have the bug but hardly ever get to see any. I go to Silver Dollar in Reynolds, maybe one every now and again. Sure would like to see a handful go at it!!!!
