Clean look, but without the spreader bar...anyone got more pics of 32 hiboy frames with stock Model A front frame horns?...not looking for molded front frame horns...

I love that car. I'd paint it if it were mine, but I love it. I often go back and stare at it in TRJ.

However, I only have a Model A with Model A frame horns. Sorry...

My brother's 28 RPU project on 32 rails has Model A horns...

The 32 horns were already cut off, so he grafted on the model A front section, including front crossmember.

I knew I wasn't alone...yes, I may be off my meds but I like the look.

...and you don't scratch your paint on the longer deuce frame horns when you run into the curb at the convienence store...it hits the tires instead...:)

    Damn that's a GREAT look!

HRP, I'd never thought of or considered it before, thank for sharing the idea!!!

  21. I did it on my RPU as well. I also did it on my 34 frame. They look so much better than than stock 32/34 frame horns. Personal preference I suppose. A much sleeker profile indeed.

That's one of those things that never crosses most guys minds but looks hell for good when you actually see it.

I didn't find any deuces in my stash that had the A horns. There were a couple that had the ends rounded off and capped, but none that were short like the As.. No Ts either. I'd be interested in seeing more too!

Doesn't Scritches or Baskervilles roadster have "A" front frame horns?

Here's the differnce, the rusty one is Model A repair piece and the new is ASC '32 rails. The frame is aligned to the rivet holes for the crossmember. DSC00795.JPG DSC00797.JPG DSC00796.JPG

In the above pics are you using the model A horns for a template to mark the ASC 32 rails to trim to the model A shape or are you actually grafting in the "A" horns? From the pic it looks close enough to mark and reshape the tip of the 32 horns.
