    Hello Chris,
As I know, all pre-War DKW automobiles were two-stroke, two-cylinder, water-cooled engines, with capacity between 500 and 600 cc. Some were front-wheel drive, some rear-wheel drive...
After the War, the most famous were two-stroke 3-cylinder, water-cooled engines, with capacity between 900 and 1000 cc., front-wheel drive only... Last in line was DKW- F-102, that prepared prototype with four-cylinder, four-stroke, front-wheel drive - that quickly become Audi 103...
    --- ---
Happily, skull and bones were symbold of "Wall of Death" - not of SS-troups...

    Ciao,
    Zoran

    Hello Brayton,
As we often jump one level higher than cyclecars are (to magnificent vintage sport automobiles in a class of 1100 cc - 1500 cc), no problem to jump sometime to one lever lower (to velocars)! As Mochet had variants with engines - they could be succesors of the simplest cyclecars.
I am interested in your build, because I have plans to transform my present pedal-powered quadricyle in something similar as velocars... It would be good if you could post more photos and information about building your cute velocar.

    Regards,
    Zoran

Tonight in about 30 minutes the American Pickers show on The History Channel will be at Wings Castle. Pete was a HAMB member loved history and cars. He died just about a year ago in his MORGAN three wheeler. Really miss him, he inspired a lot of people. Bob

    Hi Motoklas,
Yes I wrote about the creation of that car earlier on in these pages. It is based on a 1921 Talbot London 8/18 chassis with original running gear. There is not much to be said about it. I built an aluminum body and supercharged the 960cc engine. The size of the car is like an Austin Seven.
