  2. Been told that the springs are built for both by St. Louis Springs in St.Louis

  3. Couple other things that worked for me.

When I installed a Maverick rearend the shocks that were on the car were old rusty monroes. I had a set of never used KYB gas-a-just shocks on the shelf originally meant for a 74 LUV pickup rear mount. Went right on no problem. No part number but it can be sourced from a KYB catalog.

I have no idea what my driveshaft is from but since the rear u-joint was sloppy (even after greasing) found that a spare one for my 70 Bronco fit just fine.

Lost a little interest every time the SBC was mentioned. The revised version for the basket case build was less about the engine type. After all, it is a Ford.

12 volt electric fuel pumps for your Ford are $65 at Shoeboxcentral and $79 at Dennis Carpenter but only $14 on ebay.

Great stuff! Wish I’d seen all this info before I started my 50. Thanks.
