I can pick my favorite - the above 1930 coupe; Every detail is right on the point.
Can we get more information of this car?
- what engine, what accessories to it?
- transmission?
- which are those stylish wheel covers? Period accessories? Which make?
- who built the car? who owns it?

 

It was one of my favorites too, tinsled. Unfortunately, it was only in the reliability run and not the actual hill climb, so I don't have it listed on my listing of entered cars. Maybe someone else knows something about it. I think I have photographed it before and will also try to contact Mike and see if he knows. Ideally, someone watching the thread will know and contribute that info.

 

The 30 ford coupe was built and belongs to a guy named Greg Hopkins. He drives it all across America regularly. It is small block powered for reliability. Super nice guy, I had a conversation with him at the Austin speed shop during the roundup. Okay enough of the thread hi-jacking... More pictures please!!

Are Hot Rod Hill Climb dates set for 2016?

 

It is not on their website yet, but I would bet on the same weekend in August for next year.

I wouldn't totally bank on it being the same weekend. Its been a different weekend all 3 years. Im sure that the idea has to be put to the city and county again and approved... cant just keep it rolling.

Dan, great photos, they make my #75 look good.
I chose #75 because the car & myself are both 75 years old.
I drove about 2,800 miles round trip & I would do it again tomorrow to be part of this event.
