Early on it's just Will E. Start till they they prove themselves. The coupe, however, has always just been "the Plymouth." I do have a lawn tractor named "Bob."

Yup, my wife names them all.

    My '35 Slantback was "Bugsy".
My roadster "Frosty" (we got it in the dead of winter after a snow storm).
My Dort "Ellie May" (something to do with the Clampett's)
My pick up......so far, un named.

I don't give my cars a name. I don't give names to my bicycle or riding lawn mower either. What's the point? Do they come when they're called like a dog or cat? If I had a quarter mile car I would name it "Mark It 8 Seconds, Dude!" If I had a boat I would name it "Have You Seen Junior's Grades?" I sure wish I lived in Colorado, Oregon, Washington or Alaska. LOL. Time for a nap.... :D

DSC01857.JPG I named my hot rod ODD OGG, a ODD OGG was a toy from the mid 60's, it was half turtle and half frog with a green body and a red tonque. It was sort of ugly and scary!

  19. nothing wrong with naming your car, it's like the pine trees lining a winding road, a singin' bird and a croaking toad..........

My 1914 Olds roadster has just about anything and everything tried, molded, or form-to-fit on it with no templates resources...it's my ''beater'' everyday car....when I was building it, I hauled cut up sheet panels from washers and dryers for ''extra'' material for patching the body, into the side door of my garage....my wife said I reminded her of Dick Van Dyke in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" dragging stuff into the garage, and then locking the door...only to hear banging and cussing from inside....hence, she calls my car ''Chitty''....at least that what it SOUNDS LIKE'' in polite conversation!:p

  22. I call mine "you dirty S.O.B.", but only after I skin my knuckles. :)
Actually, mine are named "WILBUR" and "LANNY", in memory of the gents who owned them before me.
