History coachcraft custom aluminum top for Peter Stengels 41 Mercury

I picked this up the other day. This was made by coachcraft in the early 40s for Stengels Merc. Anyone know where that car resides now? Last Isaw it was at a show in 2007. Lots of info by googling His name and or coach craft.

 

No idea where that car is but how the hell did you find that top? That is an epic find!

I believe Ted Atkins in the Seattle area made T tops for it. Could be wrong. I saw it at a show here several years ago. PM for his number.

Probably referencing Jimmy Summers who had a shop and did custom work in L A in the thirties and forties. One of his best known works was a 40 Mercury convertible with Carson top.
