    Thanks! That's my thinking exactly as I want this as my daily and therefore want the driveline/suspension updated.

    hmmmm, tough to say at this point, however I plan to eventually run this at 30 psi on the twin turbo setup... hence the beefy trans to handle the power.

    Ford 9" is in with 4-link, custom driveshaft hoop has been added that'll work with the airbag system, and first part of the frame is boxed now to start on the front end.

    Not a whole lot new but wasn't happy with the plates with the 4-link so reworked it to something more durable....

    Still have to shorten the 9"

    Looking good! Couple of questions. Is this going to be a four link with a track bar? How long are those links? They look kind of short.

    Kool car ! Nice work ! Where did you get disc brake conversion for original spindles early in this post ? Have a 51 Roadmaster. Thanks !

    This is a "Scarebird" kit that I picked up off of ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Speci...ake-/390273013377?hash=item5ade159681&vxp=mtr)

    What you see is what you get in the picture off of ebay. He also gives you the part numbers for the rotors, calipers and pads that fit this so you can go to your local parts store and buy them. I think in addition to the $225 for the kit, the rotors will run you approx $80, Calipers hmmm I think $140 and pads $40.

    If you are interested, I put less than 500 miles on mine before I started working on my car and was going to throw the whole setup up for sale - let me know if interested.

    Who's front end did you use? Also what all came with the kit? I noticed the two main rails were not welded together so I was thinking (mistake I tell ya) that maybe you provided those?

    I modified the above kit with their "air bag kit components" from page 1 but didn't take their bags, cheaper quality than what I wanted and so I bought Slam Specialties Bags instead, I also upgraded to their new power steering rack for an extra $100: (page 1 of JW Rod catalogue)

    As for the rails not welded together, that's intentional on their part so you can adjust the width for your application.

    As you can see from the pics, their stuff is great quality - I would highly recommend JW Rod Garage, great guys to deal with as well.

    Looks like the 5 gallon air tanks will fit nicely under the body ... one on each side...

    A couple of shots from the back... air tanks in place, had to cut and sleeve the hoop for proper clearance...

    also have to replace the truck oil pan for a lower clearance one

    Temporarily moving locations with some oddball wheels, however liking the lowered look - this is the bags at their highest clearance... this thing is going to sit nice and low!

    I just ended up buying this tonight... shipping to me tomorrow

    9 inch N case strange pinion support and yoke. Mark Williams 35 spline spool with richmond 28 spline 3.70 gear.

    (Racepac sensor not included.)

    I used the JW Garage M-II conversion on my 49 Sedanette build. Same as you did. But, I had to modify the front frame rails substantially in order to bolt the stock bumper to the rails. Ended up pie cutting them in front of the A-arms and angling them down towards the ground quite a bit. Have you tried to mock up your front bumper yet?

    no i haven't yet...

    i am sending the rear end out to currie to shorten the left side, seeing they already have a jig to do this and I'll get some axles from them. Then I wanted to put the radiator and intercooler in first, to see how much room I had and then the plan was to use the old front clip and weld that into the MII.

    Thanks for the heads up as I wasn't anticipating any issues... I'll let you know how I get on.
