Here, in all its glory is 64c at the starting line as Amy drops the flag for it to take off.

Dan,...great shots. I have seldom seen photography that makes the subject look alive. Someone else posted that you feel as if you are there. I couldn't agree more. Your use of color, and sometimes your different angle or take on things is very refreshing. I enjoy all your stuff,...and thanks for attending these events and posting the photo's as I would never get to see any of these events and cars otherwise.
BIG BIG fan of your work.

Thanks a lot rustomiser! That is a big complement coming from an automotive artist as talented as you. I am definitely a fan of your work as well.

Thanks Wayne - to say that Amy put a lot of energy and spirit into dropping the flag and launching the cars would be a definite understatement.

Your welcome T&W Flathead - I may have more of it, I'll have to keep looking. At least now I know what it looks like.

Here is one that I have been running into for years and it almost always poses nicely for me.

    Dan,
A big THANK YOU for your photos. They're always wonderful to see. We were in town a few weeks before the event. Wish that we could have been there to see it but your photos were even better than being there!

Thanks a lot RPL(it is pretty hard to beat being there), bostonhemi (I would love to know what TYVM stands for), cactus1(when your truck is mobile, I would love to photograph it) and Lorenzini.

Sorry HD Driver - I thought you were asking me to find number 14. Yes - the car in post 14 is EJ. Kowalski's

Thanks Mick - it was definitely fun with a lot of cool cars and people. And also, like your events, it was very well run.

TYVM stands for "Thank You Very Much"

  18. Ha! My truck was there! We've driven it from Kansas City the last three years. Maybe next time, haha!

TYVM 2racer for telling me that. If I were only a little brighter - I would have derived that on my own. And cactus1 - I am pretty sure I have a shot or two of your truck. I thought your avatar looked familiar, but then I looked at the build thread very quickly and not thoroughly and thought you were just getting started on it. I'll see if what I have.

cactus1 - I think this is your truck. A snapshot of it that I caught from the car on the way back home on Saturday evening. I kept seeing it everywhere, but not where I could get a good enough shot of it.

  22. Yes that's my pile, ha! I promise we were not buying "Mary Jane!" Thanks Dan.
FYI it's also behind the Rolling Bones car in the previous post!

You're welcome cactus1. This 35 Chevy was not in the actual hill climb, but was one of the cars in the reliability run.

Once again beautiful pics, it is as if one is there at the event. Love the cars and looks like a great event.
