63 impala waiting in the wings, rougher than it looks, the bad white paint is over top of plenty of filler. Previous owner pulled the body and rebuilt and painted the frame.

Got a 37 chevy coupe and 2 54 chey trucks located, owners willing to sell. Been stalling on pulling the trigger. Don't think I need 'em. Had a guy offer me a 66 impala for free the other day, passing on it.

Current 69 camaro project is OT, moving slowly, blasted, etch primed, floors, trunk done, need to finish outer wheelhouse and paint the bottom and I can pull it off the rotisserie.

Will probably spend time on my father's 63 impala ss 409 when the 69 camaro is off to paint.

I may buy a finished car for once and actually drive around.

  2. Well been some changes around here since my last post. This one is waiting for a money transfusion I don't know if you can call it waiting in the wings though. It is just slowly creeping toward center stage. :D

On a 32 chassis with early 283 or possibly a early Holden grey 6 with full 50s speed parts dressing.
Collecting parts for it as I build my RPU

    Not necessarily in any order,
'39 Ford convert, 324 olds, pretty clean car, lotsa parts there already, first to be finished
'65 Futura 2 dr ht, 331 toploader, most everything there, some minor rust,
'73 Ducati 750 GT, relatively easy resto, 100% complete, running original low mileage 3rd owner bike, just needs some gussying up,
Desoto '26 T coupester, needs LOTS of stuff, major project,
'66 Chevy II wagon, '66 327, 200r4, most drivetrain/suspension stuff there, needs bodywork, paint, interior, should be next in line behind the '39,
289 4-speed T bucket, big pile of parts at this point,
re-birth of my '66 satellite from my 20's, 440/TF/4.11's, most everything is there, but car is pretty rusty, body, paint, tires, and I could hammer it back together, was PDQ back when.
'65 Falcon, 428 FE C-4, race car with plates
Theres more, but I'll stop there...Hope I live long enough...

Yep 37 Nash sedan that we have had for nearly 20 years, that Ive started work on three times now, and abandoned it three times too, plus a 37 Fiat Topolino that I cant actually fit into, plus another T project that I may yet try and turn into a 60s show style C Cab (over the top everything and thick green flake paint)

Topo project is the one I would really like to get done one day. Have the running gear (blown 350 with Hilborn 4 port EFI/raceglide/9 inch but fitting it all into the small spare, while making it street legal and fitting my 250lb frame into it is causing me some challenges.

  7. I have a 39 Deluxe Tudor queued up ... after I finish an OT "Low & Slow" 56 Dodge truck. History of the 39 is unknown, but it was obviously someone's hot rod decades ago. At some point, it had a smooth lacquer paint job. 1973 Georgia inspection sticker on the glass.

I want to build a 1940 Ford truck and have gathered 11 of these in junkyard condition. I wanted a 1950 Ford Tudor and had gotten 7 junkers when the running driving Crestliner showed up. I buy most of the Model A stuff I find and have enough for 10 cars (one driving for 18 years) and 7 Model Ts. I like 35-37 Ford trucks, have about 5 and a 39 along with grandpas 54 Ford, a couple of 55 chevys, a 57 Chevy (driving it 25 years) a 59 Ford driving it about 14 years, a 60 F100. My newest car is a 66 Chrysler convertible that my parents had for 25 years. I've had it 18 but rarely drive it. I prefer older cars. Manyolcars

Save the pieces you cut out so the next owner can repair it

  17. Since I posted this, I sold off everything but the 301 motor...it was all costing too much for storage and was a diversion away from my 34 coupe
