  1. The coupe has some rake, too, but not as drastic as the truck.

  2. Really nice looking ride. I had a 38 stake bed project years ago. We sold it and a bunch of other old car stuff to help us come up with the money for the down payment on our first house.

    like the look,
    but front tires look huge,
    how does it steer?

  10. Johns Rod & Custom, what size wheels are on that T-bird? It may be an illusion but they look huge in those photos.

    Like a truck??:D;)

  12. Now that you point that out ... they do look bigger up front. But it's just the pic. They're the same all around and as for steering/driving, I think it's go a great feel (for a truck! ;)).

  14. Rake doesn't need to be extreme just smooth. The car really dictates what the rake is more then the rake dictating what the car is.

Man I love these pics that people have in their garages. It gives the rest of us a look into the mind that dreams up and builds these cars:)

That's not mine - wish it was though - I stole the picture off of the 40 turns 75 thread and I thought the rake was just right!!

I don't know who owns the red '40, but it's in Vern Tardel's garage. The car is beautiful, but it would also look good lowered a couple of inches at both ends.

No, it's not mine. Built by Kirk Hanning a few years ago. Baby Hemi, quick change, lots of metal work (like raised wheelwells) and lots of driving. He sold it a bit ago but I don't remember where it went. He builds damn nice cars....

  24. I'll say he does. That one is as smooth as silk.

  25. The red sedan is really nice. Not much rake, though.
