Customs 53' Victoria Build Thread

started my new dash. found an impala dash on the local Craigslist for free picked it up and started cutting it to fit. had to cut the OE ford dash surround by the window. left about 2 inches on the ford dash everything else was cut off. Chopped the impala dash in half and centered the driver side cluster over the steering wheel support. and tacked in same for the passenger side. i cut about 2 inches off of each side of the impala dash so i can weld it to the metal door inserts to when the doors close it will mount flush.

once its all fitted nicely they are going to be sand blasted same with the dash pods.

 

Yay! Fabbed my passenger floor support can't find one on the interweb so I just made one.

 

did you ever decide to use a buick rear bumper?
