Event Coverage Relix Riot 2015

spending and swimming, that's me, you chair wrecker.

i picked up a Y block marine intake with 2 sidedraft carters, linkage and all. i also bought a nice early T steering wheel to put on my bead roller instead of turning that small hand crank. i also met jack(phat rat) at the swap to grab my model T gas tank i bought from him a few weeks ago.

a lot of nice cars there this year, over 300 i heard. i keep spreading the word about this show and it has become a must attend among my friends. the relics cc couldn't have chosen a better place to have it. i know they would like to see it grow but i find it perfect the way it is. swap meet was way bigger this year too.

Rick: I have to admit that your swap meet score was money well spent. As far as wrecking chairs, any chair made out of old fatigued plastic and canvas, is fair game for my fat azz. Not my fault! We has a wonderful time. I never figured out where the swimming pool was. Every time I saw you, you had just gotten out of the water.

 

The Relix CC would like to thank everyone who attended the Relix Riot this year, you all made it a great show! If any one knows who had the sweet metallic green 1936 Ford Pick Up with the Hemi and 6 dueces please send me a message, he won an award but was not there to accept it and we want to get it to him.

 

steve, i had the 46 ford coupe with a hemi and a 4 bbl, is that close enough?

 

Great show guys. The Voodoo juice was good too.

 

Another great time at the Gilmore Museum at the Relix Riot show. We had a great drive up from Indy meeting some of the Road Kings traveling the back roads and having lunch on the way. Friday night was perfect hanging out and catching up with friends. Got soaking wet going back to the motel from a very heavy storm brought a BUTT load of rain, not fun. The show had a lot of great looking cars, with very little of the "rat rod" stuff. I don't think you can have a show at a better place than the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners in Michigan. The cars in the museum is stunning, the whole property in beautiful and well takin care of. If you have never been to this show, you NEED TO GO. Thanks to the Relix club for putting this on.

 

Finally got to bring my truck to this show. Great time! Second pic is our little group that drove in together.
