Great times, and the girl looks like she's having fun with the salvage operation, too.

If that's a Stanley, he's probably making steam whistle noises!

Coach Knute Rockne (far left) met with Studebaker dealers of northern California in San Francisco. In this picture he is met by two Pacific Coast football coaches, Adam Walsh and “Nibs” Price of the University of California. Photo courtesy of the author.

From left to right are Frederick Fish, a Studebaker Corp. executive and the son-in-law of J.M. Studebaker; Albert Erskine; J.M. Studebaker; and James Heaslet, chief engineer of Studebaker Corp. The men are seated in a 1916 Studebaker 6-50 Touring Car that is parked in front of the Studebaker Administration Building.

  19. This young lady reminds me of my wife, the only gauge she checks is the gas. She obviously is more interested in looking good for the boys, than what her troubles are.

An Austin J40 pedal car. Manufactured in a specially constructed factory in South Wales, UK enabling disabled coal miners to find a new interest in life and do a job of work. 250 men were employed. The factory, called the Austin Junior Car Factory, opened in July 1949 and ceased production in September 1971. In total 32,098 cars were produced. The factory continued to be used for the production of rocker covers for the Rover Group up to its closure in April 1999.
