Very cool show from today. Lots of really interesting ideas and great fabrication. Met up with cool people from The HAMB (slopok and cmarcus) It was my fist time at the shop and it makes me jealous haha. All the cool original parts on the ceiling. I felt like I was walking through a dream. Here are some pictures I took form the show. If you want. Post up the pictures you have. My car is the 52 ford and my buddies on the 65 skylark.
Killer trunk line on the '36! The 1955 Chevy shows originality. Would like to see how it turns out. Any pics of the chop-top behind it?
was the voodoo Sahara in the work shop or is that finished. saw a rides with chuck video on youtube the other day he was at the voodoo larry workshop, they do mint work in there I'd love to meet him
The car was there. I've never seen metal work like that is persons before. It is truly insane. [ ATTACH=full]2968382[/ATTACH]
As Chris mentioned, I was there as well. To see the vast amount of work in the shop, the incredible fab skills, and to top it off, the cleanliness of the shop was pretty awesome. The Sahara tribute car is going to be incredible. Cannot wait to see it finished...and luckily we are in the area to see it progress!
Would love to see his shop and projects! His metal working skills and vision are unreal. Been following his Sahara build on CCC......simply amazing!
That looks like it was a great time. His work is always unique and top quality. I'm sorry I missed it. Every year I make a point to try to make it out there, but then get busy and miss it. Thanks for posting the pics.
All of you really need to. It was my first time to the shop. The people out there are all cool and ready to answer question. If anyone is in the Lombard area on Thursdays. Come out to the Brauerhouse cruise night. Lots of PBRs!! Oh and cars too.
He has come up to our show in Wisconsin Dells with his crew many times . I have meant to introduce myself and talk custom bodywork and paint with him but he always seems busy holding court because he truly seems to be king to all who know him. I hear he is a hell of a bass player also. I don't have tats or hair anymore to grease up ! lol but I am sure our mutual love of classic customs would make us great friends. Larry {the one bad merc one not the voodoo one}
