Projects 37 ford half ton pickup build

The stock mount worked only because it rode on the closed torque tube which rotated as the axle moved.

 

i thought that the old wishbones may be a problem. any suggestions on how you guys would do it. any pictures or examples?

 

I also am redoing a 37.53 Merc,39 tranny and juice brakes done in the 60's.I want this truck to be the way we did them in the 60's.Still trying to get out the spring perch bolts out.Any suggestions?Flatheads forever

 

A little heat and a good whack with a big hammer 'should' get them out. If not you might have to oxy cut them out.
