Threw my frame rails onto the table and made some cuts in the rails so I could start contouring the rails. Also made my cut outs so I could fit my front cross member up into the rails.

Cuts, clamps and measuring to make sure all is square.

After double checking all my measurements it seems to be dead on. Tomorrow I'll start tacking. I guess at this point the tricky part will be keeping it square while welding. After that I'll put in my rear cross member, figure out some front spring perches, hang my rear end and then should be able to put it back on the floor. Should be at the point where I can make some progress each week.
    Thanx for the look

Not much to report but a little more progress. Frame rails welded up just need to clean up the welds, rear spring perch cleaned up and ready for welding and one rear arm tacked in place. Once I get the spring perch welded up I can tack in the other arm.

Almost forgot this little guy. Scored this tranny from a local guy here in town. Supposedly freshly rebuilt and is super clean inside.

Finally got the rear spring perch welded up and last arm in place. So far I'm within about 1/16" in all measurements.....couldn't be happier! Off the frame table for final fit, measurements for x member, front spring mounts, engine mounts and making sure all fits as planned..........so far so good. Wheel base sitting at 102".
