Met Bo several years ago in Salina at the kkoa show. We were sitting in our 50 Nash when Bo came up and said he had seen 3 other nashes at other shows but ours was his favorite. RIP BO.....

So long, Bo. We never met but I read such good things that I donated to the recovery fund about five years ago.

Met Bo quite by accident in Las Vegas a few years ago. His passion was obvious and genuine. So were his health problems. But he soldiered through the weekend without complaint. He was a force.

Sad news indeed. Never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Huff, but loved waiting to see what he would come up with next. I admire folks who build cars THEY like and don't worry too much (or at all) about what someone else thinks.
Pretty sure Bo was one of those guys.

I've had a similar experience with Bo, I met him a few months ago, he had just got out of the hospital. I had told him I was a fan of his work. He was happy to hear that he had inspired me, had me pull up a chair and we talked for an hour. He was a very down to earth, happy guy. He will be missed, my condolences to the family.

There is something i want to share about when i met Bo back in '06.
As we talked and he was asking some questions about my car, he noticed the interior wasn't done.
Mid conversation he told me to hold on, when he came back he had a pair of small, real cool art deco style light lenses and bezels.
He handed em over to me and said, i picked these up for a future build to use as dome lights, but dont know what i'll use then in yet so here, i want you to have these for when you do the interior.

A small gesture that was huge to myself, and the guys i was with.

What i picked up in the short hour or so in being with him was he was REAL.
Sure he was super well known and a legend in this lifestyle we are in, but he acted and treated us all like long lost friends.

We didnt just lose a hell of a builder, We lost that and a hell of a good guy.

Just wanted to share what was on my mind.

Bo inspired us 2 little Aussies after a visit to Dragerton post VLV. The passion was real and affected us both. We will keep his memory alive down under. Sympathy to the family and friends for a great loss.
