In it's current form, I'd say that it's iron ore trying desperately to go back home. In it's former life, it was most likely one of these;
LOL that's a fact jack. What it is right now is a rusting old hulk, but the real question is what can it be now what it is. With a lot of two things imagination and elbo grease it can be one nice old tub.
