I can't say from first hand experience because I have yet to build myself "my own" gasser but I've done atleast a half dozen in this exact fashion.. I'm convinced after meeting these fellas that they almost had a sense of accomplishment after there first "green light guardrail".. Anyone else have a similar feeling or experience? But after the patterned and flake paint match, frame and suspension repairs, front fender with a frenched Chevy pickup bucket & running board this Dewey cheatum and Howe gasser is back where it belongs and the owner is back tearing up the streets. Gasser owners are from bizzaro world.

Newb gasser builders should be aware that they are much more prone to losing control and getting into accidents because the high center of gravity affects stability in hard acceleration, cornering and braking.

  10. I could be considered "odd" but I never put it in the wall . I did however put some motor parts on the track . Now it is bigger and stronger that is a good thing I think.

Think about it, anybody can put it in the wall, it takes a bit more talent to launch and get to the other end without hitting anything! So why would anybody celebrate actions that anyone can do?

  13. ... maybe it just kissed the wall. Instead of those down home, french tongue/lay 'em down/and f#ck 'em moments. ???? We'll never know.

It's like going home with the ugliest gal at the bar. You wouldn't do it again but it happened, and everyone knows it happened, so you have to make the best of it.

The guy who hands out the HAMB Bunny with Pancakes award seems to have wandered away...so this award is ENTIRELY unofficial, and not to be recorded in the archival statistics.

  20. Those are guys who know nothing about racing and think that the show in the staging lanes is racing. If it don't stand up and cut a straight line it is a turd and face it who really cares what happens to a turd.
