Technical 1960 Falcon Convert from 3 on tree to floor shift

Hello I was looking at this Hurst kit fot my 60 Falcon .Hurst Indy SSA 3 speed universal shifter 501-0002 / 5010002
The car is currently 3 on the tree . I have some buckets for it and want to put the shifter on the floor .I was wondering if anyone had any expierence making the swap . I am going to keep the 144 6cyl in it.

I did my 61 back in high school with a Fenton shifter before changing motor and trans. to 289 auto - not hard at all - jaxx
