Technical 1930 Lincoln Sedan

    Sorry folks, this isn't a build thread.

    Looking for information on the automatic rear quarter window. How it works and what not. I'm looking to get mine working again.
    I figured someone on the hamb may have dealt with this in the past.

    "Automatic" windows in 1930? What's that? If it's a power window it was probably hydraulic, as that's what the Lincoln's used in the 40's. They hadn't developed any electric motors that small for windows or wipers in the early 30's.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but 1930 was the last year of the L-Series Lincolns, correct? Weren't most if not all of those cars coach built? So you may have to track down information from or about the coach builder as well.

    Not much help, but at least the thread will get bumped.

    The windows are not hydraulic or electric. The regulator appears to be a loose design of a modern window shade, a spring and drum, but controled by a gear and a lock along with a lever.

    Yep, last year for the model L but not all coach built

    I'll get pics loaded this weekend
