While going through my thousands of pictures, I came across these from 1978 and the Yellowstone Rod Run. Maybe you were there, I was with my 36 Willys and took these pictures. Hope you enjoy some nostalgia.

Thanx for the memories !!! I attended in '72 and '73 then several times since . Always a good time , laid back, and a great place to tour in a hot rod.

My first ever Rod Run was Yellowstone 1973. I was a 15 year old kid from a SMALL town in MS, spending the summer with my brother in L.A. and we drove up. I had never seen that many cars of that sort in one place outside California. And great people. Dick and Lois Magoo (only because I can't spell their last name) drove up in their phaeton. One day when I learn to post pics, I'll share a few.

Hey! I was there that year. I have photos of many of those same cars. I'm looking forward to going this year too.

  11. This is the "Most popular car" trophy from the first Yellowstone run in 1970.

Either buy a scanner, scan and save to some type of digital memory, hard drive disc, memory stick.
Or take pics to a place that can do the same thing. Walmart, Staples ect.

  14. I love the old pictures, cars have changed over the years, but not as much as some would like to think. Can't help but notice that the people in the pictures don't all like like blimps, humanity needs a famine.

Good to see Frank's '50 Chev 2 door again. He always wore the best T shirts !!! Remember "T" Willy's son chasing his daughters around ?

  21. Tim: I've had success lately taking a pic of the pics and then downloading to the computer with the sd card. You could take the pics to Walmart, or a place like that, and they can scan them to a dvd for you. (psst...just between me and you, I'm looking at a '32 5wndw!!!) Tim

Deuce does the same guy still own it? I was really impressed with the Z-28 cross ram and air cleaner, it made for a awesome engine set up.
