Lancaster National Dragway is under new management this season and we are trying to revitalize one of our signature events, which used to be called Sunday Niagara. We can no longer use The name Sunday Niagara. The previous promoter, who I'm sure you all know and love, copyrighted the name Sunday Niagara and has strongly advised the new management not to use it. So, in an effort to continue the great tradition of drag racing in Western New York we will now refer to that Weekend as Lancaster Dragway Reunion Weekend-Featuring Sunday Nostalgia Drags. We will return to the three day format with our regular classes on Friday with an added nostalgia class and will go full Nostalgia Saturday morning with qualifying for all classes and an eliminations for little and comp eliminator a as well as featured Nostalgia Funny Cars from the Great Lakes Funny Cars Circuit and the Gassers of the Nostalgia AA/Gasser group. When the Racing ends on Saturday afternoon there will be a Chicken BBQ and the first ever Hall/Wall of fame Ceremonies inducting 6 of the legends of drag racing from Lancaster Dragway. (Two in each Category, Racers, Founders, Contributors.) There will be one final round of qualifying on Sunday before Final eliminations in all classes including Nostalgia AA/G and Top Eliminator. The first 16 entries for the Top Eliminator class will receive free race entry and their chance at a $1,500.00 winners purse. Also the Clutch Artists of Buffalo Will Return and run the Car Show on Sunday! Register here: http://www.sundaynostalgiadrags.com/
Friday admission is $15 Saturday is $15 plus $ for chicken BBQ and hall of fame ceremony. Sunday is $20. Prices are all access.

So whats going to be different this year as opposed to the last 5 or 6 years which have completely sucked? Besides the name change.
This year was great! Awesome turnout for the car show Sunday, and plenty of drag racing action! Don't have any complaints! Looking forward to next year! Highly recommend going next year! I'll post a link to pics..
