After four months I finally got my seat back from the upholstery shop. Other than taking a long time to get it back I'm very happy with how it looks.
I also decided to get some parts on my front end chrome plated, so I sent them off to speed and sport chrome and a few weeks later they were back at my shop! They did a outstanding job can't thank them enough.
My shop is a 30x30 if I tried that it'd look like Austin Powers trying to turn his golf cart around. But I do hope to drive it in the next few weeks!
I get Giddy everytime I look at your progress! I too have had a time trying to find a decent bed (just missing two 35-36 beds about 1.5 years ago for under $300, ugh!) It is amazing how similar your build is to my parts collecting! You have Great Taste! (Lol) Thanks for all the motivation you keep giving me! You are doing a FINE job!
Not really a update just thought I'd share that last night for the first time I got to drive my truck! Everything went well I still have lots to do but it was nice after 3 years of hard work to finally drive it up the road.
I don't know how I managed to miss this build until now BUT I'm up to speed on it now and I like it. I like it a lot.
You know you hear horror stories about bad chrome work but this..........yikes! Beautiful stuff their my friend. It's the type of chrome I used to get from Chrome City in California in the 70's when doing my 57 Nomad. That's like quadruple plated........
