Few little things done, headlight mounts, radiator mounted, have the framework for the roof in, just need to fill in the gaps. And it's first day in the sun..
Hate to tell ya -- but you gotta get the radiator shell lower than the cowl, or else it looks broke in the middle. From 20+ years of experience, it'd be great to have a roll-down or power rear window. Easy to do now. Will really help on long trip by letting the air flow thru.
It's is even with the cowl, pictures make it look a little taller, also I think the sliding top will let some air in. Thanks for the input though
"pictures make it look a little taller" That's 'cause the cowl slants down. When you take the hood straight out from it, it looks broke. I think it needs to be lower, not even. But then again, I think lots of things.
We'll it has been put up till October, may be a few random updates if I get the frame and motor done.
Not October yet, but I got it back home. Soon as high school football season is over, it's getting finished...
Glad to see your keeping ford power!....your garage shot also shows some VERRY nice slightly too new fords to be hamb friendly but I like em!
Thank goodness. A FORD guy putting a ford together instead of these "budget, cookie cutter chevy in everything builds". Will be watching this one.
sure does look Purdy cant wait to see it done and you defiantly have to get a video of the first drive
Almost done with all the metal work. Hopefully starting to get the bottom ready for paint next week. Not often somebody will say glad to be laid off, I sure the hell am. Hope to finish this thing up this winter. Time will tell.
