Deek, Really love the choice of parts. Really like the Columbia rear axle and open drive trans ! Looking forward to more updates.

  2. I got a '29 sport Coupe with the door tops cut off, haven't started it yet, but after seeing yours chopped, makes me think I need some door tops to do it right. Also had the idea to put in a spare '35 dash I used for gauge mock up for the sedan. Great minds, etc. Looks great!

That is a really cool sport coupe. I like the way you shortened it up. Going to be a real cool ride.

It's been a while since I've worked on this one. Over the last 5 years, my business has substantially grown and we have spent most of our efforts focusing on our products, customer cars, and acquiring a new location. As a result, this project was pushed further and further back, and a lot of parts were pulled and used for other builds. The joke around the shop is that if you quit working on a project, it has been "sport couped". Well, it's finally time to start making some progress! Here it is when we pulled it out of it's hole to move it to the new shop. IMG_1272re.jpg

The 36 dash was used on another project, so I'm installing a dash from a 52 Nash. Kind of an odd one but I really like how it's turning out! Hope to post more progress soon.

SO nice to see you posting again! My own 29 SC has pretty much been SC'd too. LOVE the new dash, but I actually prefer the one you had before. I'd save that new one for a totally custom rod, unless you plan more radical body work changes on this coupe. Just IMHO, Gary

  18. Yikes ! That's moved quite a bit considering your so called dead-stop on it. Looks really, really nice. Go go go !!!

Love the stance on your Sport Coupe. I'm working on one as we speak. How much kick up do you have on the front and back of this frame?
