Depends on the size of the engine in question.

10cc's are roughly 1-point of compression on a 4" bore SBC.

You will need a second key on the crank.

I thought 500 bucks for everything might be a good deal.

It might work for what you want to do. Or it might be better to set it up with dished pistons. Kind of depends on what boost, what fuel, what heads you plan to run.

    Sorry, didn't see the link.

Try using this compression ratio calculator, it's on a Pontiac site but it of course works for any brand engine:http://www.wallaceracing.com/cr_test2.php

2 bolt. If I do get a 2 bolt, I will get it machined for 4 bolt splayed caps.

With that collection of parts, you should be at 9.05;1 static CR.

  17. What a cool chart! I was wondering what mine is with huge-chamber heads and pop-up pistons...came out to 9.52. That's liveable.

Block and pistons only? Could be a good price, especially if you use a thick head gasket and 76cc chamber heads; could be 8.5 or lower.. Those are some deep valve pockets in those pistons. Need a forged aftermarket crank I'm not going to use. The CH height on those pistons are with a 6 inch long rod, another few $$$. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
