Well it has been a week since we left for the Hot Rod Reunion and I thought I would put a few thoughts down.

1st off I would like to thank JOYFLEA again and say I owe him BIGTIME
2nd I would like to thank all the Hambers who always come up and talk to us and who comment on the Mohawk my son has. You guys always make him feel extra special and I thank you for that.

I wish the weather was better because I believe that it held off a lot of swap meet vendors and participants (oh well we can't do anything about that).
I would like to commend the officials for soldiering on and getting the event in the books and THANK GOD THE CACKLEFEST WAS HELD AFTER DARK AS IT SHOULD BE.

Next year we bring the Corvette
20th century Chevy bring the Nomad
Rocky Larocca bring something cool (I know you can)

I can't wait to do it again.

I am also very thankful that the axle came out when we were coming back from breakfast instead of the day before on I-40 running about 65MPH.

I ALSO WANT TO PLUG THE 5TH STREET DINER FOR AWESOME BREAKFAST AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

Enloe....You would have to get a picture with me in it.........I have the white shirt on with my left hand on my hip. I remember I was looking at Jim Oddy's Junkyard Dog that was getting ready to head to the burnout box. Can't wait for next year to see the corvette and yes, I will have my wagon there as well!!!

I don't know what the next adventure is. I was hoping to go to the Meltdown but He will be in mandatory football practices so I don't think I will be able to come...
I have already taken those days off from work so we will see

 

Here a few pics of the wagon headed home behind Bluejay's truck (HAMBer JOYFLEA).
We had to put his generator in the back of the wagon.
This may be my 1st attempt at making a Hybrid vehicle just have to figure out how to make it work.

 

I went over to mu buddy Gene's house yesterday and took a rearend apart. It was one that was in my parts car. I had given it to him so he could use the chunk for his 57 it had 3.08 gear in it. When we took it apart it looks like a low mileage rearend. The gears looked new and so did everything else.

I am going to put the axle in the wagon AWESOME.

 

Busy evening today. I have a dentist apt today
Then I have to go work out
Then it is on to Gene's house to put chunk in for him on his Creampuff 57. I will take some pics after we are done.
