This is great news,John and I will pass it on. I have been to the Sterling Airport for their town fair and it's a perfect place for the drag reunion. old fashion and lots of open space.
I attended the Orange Drags today and found it fantastic. Everyone got in plenty of runs. It was handled on the highest professional level. Cant wait for the next time.
Another great day. And the new location is the best one yet. Other than forgetting to turn my fuel pump on for first round eliminations , the 55 ran great. THANK YOU John ( and crew ) for making this event happen. Looking forward to next year already.
Yesterday was awesome! (Hopefully the "twigster" will check in with pics ; he usually documents events with excellent pics). Too many things going on this weekend! I've been wanting to go to the "330" drags for a while, but always had to work Saturdays. This year I got invited to the "R.O.G." too, so I quit my job and I'm going to everything. My doctor told me it's "time to face my mortality"- sounded like good advice to me! Don't ever let work get in the way of a good time! ( at least I think that's what he meant?)
The first picture is off John's site. The only picture I took yesterday was of this 48 Anglia sitting in the staging lanes . Spent most of my day in the car.
