Usually, you are correct; however, even though the turnout was good, it was probably 50% down from a good year...because of the heat wave, I imagine. And I think the show Saturday suffered as well.

Yes I went (SoCal) and there was a lot of empty spots for cars between the buildings, I too assume it was the heat.... great shots as usual btw Tom

There was zip in the auxiliary lot to the west, and virtually no cars on the street to the east.

  10. Is it just me, or is blue the dominant color this year? Or is that just what was catching Tom's eye? o_O

I always used to say that "the shoes made the skirt on a lady", I guess it applies here as well ;).
I let you're-our new friend, Cam drive it around the block while I was moving out 64B to take on Sunday. He was stoked riding home from the show in the 34, then driving the 32 SBC car.
This will be its 1st driven to show, and the paint while blotchy on the 64B is thin, its shiny in most places, I hope that they let it through though.
Mark, Tom is the one responsible for this picture. He did a kick ass job going from color to black and white.
Tom, I was in the 34 today, was an adventure as that car HATES the heat..... ever since I did that DOS movie n the 117 degree heat, that car has a heating up problem on 100+ degree days.
If you're around on Sunday. I'll be in a 32 that look's very much like this one, but described above with Cyclone Racing Equipment Los Angeles logo on the deck-lid. Come by and say hello if ya see me cruising around. :)

I see what you mean, Nitro, I did shoot a lot of blue cars. I was really drawn to the '31 hiboy roadster on deuce rails, blue with maroon wheels/grille insert. DSC_7415.jpg DSC_7661.jpg DSC_7730.jpg DSC_7735.jpg
Sorry I missed you Kevin and Dean. A day and a half in that heat was enough for me, so I am back in the even hotter heat of Phoenix....but inside in AC. From checking out other coverages, I can see that I missed a lot this year.

The bad shots are all on the cutting room floor, Tom!
