Projects 1949 Chevy 3100 build

picked up this 49 a few days ago. Looks to be mostly original no engine or tranny. I'm gonna take it apart and have the frame and cab sand blasted and go from there. My inspiration is Art Morrisons farm truck. Mine will have a modern suspension and drivetrain. Looking at AME IFS and 4 bar rear. Also looking at Scott's hotrods suspension. Drivetrain will likely be an LQ4/9. Excited about this project!

 

looks nice as it is but you have a 2 front bumpers. Join the AD group here and good luck on the build.

 

Good score and good luck with your build ! - love them chevys - just please relocate that gas tank too - something about sitting on top of a gas tank just don't seem like a good idea.

yup, rear bumpers were flatter/straighter, not as curved as fronts.
