I don't ask for much in life but I do ask for anyone heading out to the swap this weekend to snap away in the swap, the more the better for those unfortunate souls who cannot be there.
No interest in the Easter egg street rods just pics of early ford greasy goodness.
    An advance thanks.

Someone's holding out. I know I'm going to be there tomorrow morning and all, but I'd like to get a look at the goods beforehand! ;)

Ok, it's 8.20 pm on the west coast, you've snuck in to the swap this morning, armed with a box brownie camera, got back to motel 6 after a long day, showered, in and out burger, beers, now it's time to load some pics, pleasssse.

  14. 12:10 am here and I can't sleep. Getting up at 5ish to head over there with camera in hand, don't know if my brain will function enough to take pics but I'll try.

Here are few. The Model A coupe was $6800. The 30-31 roadster was really clean! 39 Willys coupe was $63k

  26. great pics, will post a few I got later today.

IS it me or did all the sudden we become Wall-E characters at the show.
About 4 out 5 people we are on the mobility scooters.

Also road ragin golf cart drivers.

Atleast they allow bicycles for the most part in the general swap area. We rode around on some vintage bikes.

Mostly vintage ford and chevy parts. great stuff for pre 40's Hot rod parts. Not a lot of J-lo posters or toys that nobody wants to see.

very hot seems like close to 100 degress but really was about 90ish.

This show is still better that all the Pomona Swaps all year.

Its about 4 big shows in one.

I'll post pictures later. Just got home and had dinner, I'm beat! Nice breeze blowing but very hot (as usual) and humid (unusual).

Did anyone else think the crowd was smaller than usual? I brought a bicycle but figured I wouldn't be able to ride it around the swap meet today as it is usually jammed with people. I rode around all day today with no problem. Thinking the heat may have kept people away?

On the plus side, I got a set of 5 spokes with tires for my '31 coupe and also bought a Model A roadster pickup project!
