Moriarity, great looking '63 split window. I bet pictures like that would make a restorer cry. Always loved the look of a '61-'62 Vette with six tail lights also. -Dave

Thank you. How could anyone say that six tail lights don't look better than four!

All your cars are great. Let's see some more of this car, please.

Also, if you have any more of the purple '57 Plymouth beside your Corvette, that would be great. Thank you.

I agree, please Chill Out and enjoy this awesome thread. There is plenty to go around for everyone. My personal believe is that if you finfd it on the internet, it is free game. If you do not want others to copy what you post, then put a water mark on it with your ID, so everyone will know where it came from. I appreciate what everyone does here and it brings back some memories for myself which I will post in this thread very soon.

    Take care,
    Tom

Very very cool thread here. It brings back something from my child hood that I want to share. I will first ask a question that will get things into motion and see who has information on my question. I appreciate what all of you that post photos here are doing. It is awesome.

Question is: 1969/1970 International Grand Champion World of Wheels is?

We have a winner. That car belonged to my fathers (Dean Garris) cousin Tom Myre who was a West Bloomfield Michigan police officer who died of cancer at a young age. Tom was a very meticulous person from my memory of him. I remember being at his place (at 6 years old in 1971) and seeing the car in person. The car went through a few changes and was candy red before it was painted pearl white. Those early days in my life made me the person I am today and stapled my interest in custom cars and trucks. In the time of the 60's and early 70's, there was some very serious competition for the title of International Grand Champion. I am glad to have some roots to it.

    Take care,
    Tom
