Wagon is ready. Leaving early Wednesday AM

 

31 chrysler is ready. i had the heads off and changed rod bearings. i have a change of plans now. instead of just driving straight down I'm going to memphis. fast efi invited me down to set up my traction control and do a few other changes to my ecu. it should be fun on the street. arriving wed.

 

Will be there Friday only appraising two vintage restored race cars. Back to Tucson Friday night so I can deal with the backlog.

We will be there running the Austin. Haven't been in a few years. Looking forward to it.

Just finished changing the oil, I'm ready to go. Pretty hot this morning in Kentucky. Sure hope it cools off somewhat by Thursday.

I'll be in a white Ranger. The 66' wagon is on the stands. I'll be there early Thursday. Coming from my dads over in Marion county about 2 hrs away. I'll be looking for purple! LOL.

 

I got on here to ask what color the kids hair would be. I'll look for him!

 

I'll probably post status updates through out our trip Wednesday

Weather be damned there will be racing and everyone should have a GREAT time!

Last day at work before the annual "Guy Trip" it is only 8 hours but it is a long 8 hours
Ethan has the hair ready so look for this head and I will be close by.

My daughter decided she needed some color also. This is leftover dye from last years guy trip hairdo.

 

Just watched the National Weather and its not too encouraging. Apparently Tropical Depression Bill now hitting Texas is expected to turn right and bring rain to the Ohio and Mississippi valleys later this week. We'll just have to keep an eye on it.

 

O.K everyone start that ANTI RAIN DANCE! Doesn't look like a wash out just like home, hot humid days equals shower's in the late afternoon, early evening! They'll do some racing!
