Cool car and to be able to get it fired up and post a video of it running.

That's one of those cars that is a bit unreal on it's own and too interesting to ever want to modify.

  11. I love that engine shot in post #34. Looks like a giant, mutant Briggs and Stratton after some atomic apocalypse.

Ya know, everybody sayin restore it just shows the integrity and honesty here on the HAMB.
You can get that up-n-runnin and pretty well finance a nice rod project.
    Good Job.
P.S, restore it, and start a rod project from scratch. How many people have a Franklin for the right price?.

  13. Very cool car made just 15 minutes from where I live. Thanks for saving it!

Didn't these have all aluminum bodies? That may explain the excellent condition.

That is so awesome! What a find. I was at a local cruise night last summer and this old dude comes driving in in his totally stock and original Franklin. Very cool to learn all about them. I am amazed at the great ideas that old cars possess.

Nice Franklin!! My dad had a model T chassis with a franklin engine on a tower in the front and a propeller on it. He called it the wind wagon. LOL.

what a cool car, and to find it in this condition...

It's almost strange to hear a bunch of HAMBers say to keep it stock/restore it... but guess I'm one of them. too cool and too complete to hot rod it
