Event Coverage 2015 All Deuces Run...pics here

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions," that's an old cliche. In my case it should be "The road to Blowing Rock is paved with good intentions."

I had intended to get a shot of every car that went on this year's All Deuce Run...but we know where good intentions often lead. I left the house in a hurry and picked up a DX lens and a full frame camera body. About half way through the day I discovered my mistake. I had forgotten to allow for the crop factor and many of my shots were missing key elements that I thought were in the frame.

By then it was too late and I never did get shots of all the cars. Lesson learned...Pay Attention, damnit!

Nevertheless, here are some of the ones that I was able to salvage...

The day started out sunny and bright with a good selection of cars from all over. Not just NC, but folks came from Illinois, Maryland, SC,GA and others that I missed.

Great stuff. I recognize a couple of those Maryland guys. Both are long distance runners and true die-hard hot-rodders.
