We used to run N/SS here but I never heard of a guy named Rusty I usually stay on top of the pontiacs in the area hahaha
Front is on loosing the power steering and installing a manual box also have an m22 trans for it going in as soon as my Fabtech linkage gets here pretty excited to get this car mobile again I really have missed the car life just seems to make more sense when she's running
Great car, that's gonna be a handful w/o power steering, minimum you'll need a larger diameter steering wheel. Install chin-up bar in the garage, you'll need it to build up yor arms.
Update: every thing is ordered and on its way for the four speed swap hopefully it'll all be here before the weekend really want to get this car on the road. I also am considering getting a Gear Vendors overdrive for my m22 don't know if any one has used it on here if so how did it install and how do you like it?
So far the m22 is all in with clutch and linkage and the crossmember was modified to fit the muncie better (thanks dad) the driveshaft is all in and the shifter is mounted the next step is wiring and she should fire right up...I hope
Water pump is back on rad and everything starter is on headers are on just rewire everything and go for glory...I think
The '61 Bonneville in my avatar has manual steering. It's not the greatest for parallel parking, but it's really not bad at all driving down the road.
I'm excited for it my dads 62 had manual steering and I drive it a few more times than he thought and it wasn't bad at all it's all manual now manual steer brakes and shift
Also now the cars mostly all wired up just need to add fluids and start it up but I'll wait till the morning it's already midnight
Kickass Catty' man. Gawd damn in love with those cars. Phone call on line #1 ... spirit of Mickey Thompson holding. The lightweights were indeed hell on wheels.
